The doors have reopened at The Inn on the Green in Harpenden following a six-figure investment providing the pub with a fresh look and feel.

The Leyton Road establishment has benefitted from works inside and out alongside the introduction of new menus.

.Key features of the investment include improvements to the Greene King pub’s bar and restaurant areas to create a stylish interior layout, complete with upgraded furniture, additional seating and cosy lighting to ensure elevated and comfortable dining experiences for guests, with antique décor paying homage to the pub’s rich past.

Outside, new signage, lighting and garden furniture boosts kerb appeal and improves comfort for customers seeking to enjoy an alfresco tipple. The pub has also expanded its outdoor seating to ensure even more space for friends and families to come together for a meal or a drink throughout the seasons.

General manager Matthew Holland said: “The Inn on the Green has been a cherished social hub in the heart of the community in Harpenden for hundreds of years, and it’s been incredible to see the pub’s unique character come to life with this renovation.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming back the locals to experience all the improved Inn on the Green has to offer, with a smart new look and modern facilities to complement the pub’s rich heritage, alongside hearty new food and drinks menus. We look forward to seeing our regulars and new customers here very soon!”
