Families are invited to enjoy a free, fun-filled adventure this half-term with the Brick Pumpkin Halloween Trail, organised by St Albans City Centre BID.
Running from Saturday October 18 to Sunday November 2, the trail features 12 brick model pumpkins hidden across various city centre locations, offering a creative and family-friendly way to explore St Albans.
Trail maps can be collected from the St Albans Museum + Gallery (open 10am – 4pm daily), where participants can begin their hunt to find all 12 pumpkins and collect 12 letters to complete a Halloween phrase. Participants who complete the entry form on the map and post it in the special post box at the museum, will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a St Albans Gift Card.
Adding to the Halloween excitement, a special free Make & Take event will take place on Friday October 31, from 11am to 4pm at The Maltings Shopping Centre. Children can build and take home their very own pumpkin figurine, making it a perfect hands-on activity for the spooky season.
BID manager Vivien Cannon said: “The Pumpkin Trail is a spooktacular way for families to enjoy exploring the city centre together during the half-term holidays. Take a pit stop whilst here and enjoy our shops, cafés, and attractions to make the most out of your visit to St Albans.”
