Sandringham students have again achieved exceptional GCSE results, a reflection of their dedication, hard work, and resilience, said the leadership team.
This year has seen a record number of students achieving the highest possible grades. Among the top performers were Beth Yang, Theo Thompson, Isaac Newbigging, Jamie Bridge, Sean Sajjad and Henry Tse, each of whom achieved eight or more Grade 9s.
In addition, BethYang not only secured eight Grade 9s but was also recognised as the highest performing student in the country in the Cambridge National Sport Qualification. The majority of students will continue their education in the sixth form at Sandringham, while others will begin new pathways at local colleges, having successfully secured places on a wide range of courses.
Headteacher Alan Gray said: “This has been another exceptional year for our students. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and of the way they have supported one another. Not only have they excelled academically, but they have also embraced opportunities in the wider curriculum including sport, the arts, charity fundraising and the Duke of Edinburgh Award, becoming outstanding ambassadors for young people. Congratulations to all our students on their successes, and a massive thank you to our dedicated staff whose commitment and expertise have helped make today’s results possible.”
