Students, staff and parents at The Marlborough Science Academy are celebrating excellent GCSE results today.
Head Annie Thomson said: “We are delighted to say that our students have excelled across all of their subjects this year. In some situations, life has thrown many of our children and their families significant hurdles to climb and to see their joy on the receipt of some exceptional results, continues to make this a very special day.
“There are so many individual success stories to name, and I am proud of each and every one of them. They have been such a fabulous year group…. a joy to teach!”
She added that the school will have its biggest-ever sixth form as a consequence of these results and are welcoming more external students than ever before. She said she hopes they will be really happy as they continue their learning and life journeys.
