Pupils at St Albans High School for Girls (STAHS) are celebrating “an exceptional set of GCSE results” with 38 per cent of all grades awarded at Grade 9, 68 per cent graded 8-9 and 86 per cent at 7-9.
Head of STAHS seniors Ann Massey said: “We are immensely proud of our Year 11s. These results are a testament to their determination, resilience and the unwavering support of their teachers. Today we celebrate not just statistics, but the individual stories of success behind them.”
Six girls achieved straight 9s, more than a fifth of the year group secured all grades at 8 or 9, Many others achieved seven or more Grade 9s.
