The biggest event in Redbourn’s annual calendar returned last weekend – as the village hosted two days of family fun.

This year’s Redbourn Festival included live music, food and drink, entertainment and children’s activities plus a pedal-powered celebration of cycling culture in all its forms.

Chris Emmel, chairman of the festival committee, said: “It is agreed by all that this year’s Redbourn Festival was a “rip-roaring” success with more people than ever attending. As our reputation spreads, families from all areas are coming along and enjoying a fun-filled weekend.

“The Festival is a great opportunity for the whole community to come together, sports groups, Churches and voluntary organisations all chipping in to provide endless fun for all ages. In addition the Fete de Velo is the only road circuit for professional cyclists racing in Herts.”
