Whisky festival proves a resounding success

The sixth Summerton Whisky Festival at the Lower Red Lion

Around 350 people visited the Lower Red Lion for the sixth annual Summerton Whisky Festival.

Organiser Daniel Humphrey said: “As well as a great day for locals, we had attendees from across the UK, with some flying in from Scotland, Ireland and Germany just for the event, who were also taking the opportunity to enjoy St Albans for the weekend.

“The brands were fantastic and provided a broad selection of styles and flavours, with distilleries from Scotland, England, Ireland, America and France represented. The Lower Red Lion was once again the perfect venue, with the sun shining on everyone in the beautiful garden.”
