Local businesses donated special prizes hidden away in golden eggs to raise awareness for charity Youth Talk’s work in supporting young people’s mental health.
The Easter egg trail was organised by Taylor Walton Solicitors, with the eggs squirrelled away in Verulamium Park and on Redbourn Common.
As well as a prize, they also included an insightful mental health fact to spark conversations and promote awareness.
Emily Waddell, head of marketing at Taylor Walton, said: “We wanted to create something fun and family-friendly, while also shining a light on the vital work Youth Talk does for our community. It was fantastic to see so many people out exploring, learning, and sharing their discoveries on social media.”
Prizes were donated by The Pink Elephant, Neals Yard St Albans, Sproga Books, Herts County Show, The Happiness Co, Future Leaders, The Little Gym Harpenden, CJ’s Dance School, Meadow Field Alpacas, Mould & Make, Rockin’ Romans Golf, Pots of Art, Megan’s Restaurant, Locked Escape Rooms, St Albans Museum + Gallery, Lush St Albans, The Pilates Hub, DJ’s Play, Saunders Architects, Al Farid Restaurant, The Waffle House, Hatch, Green Bean Party Packs, Yoga with Josie, Vortex Hockey, St Albans Hockey Club, Hannah Hope Nutrition, Tappy Toes St Albans, and Little Sprouts Playtime.
