Barely have we bid farewell to last year’s Christmas postbox toppers, than new arrivals have appeared in time for Easter.
A topper in Central Drive has been handmade by expert yarnbomber Clare Seldon to raise funds for Oakwood School PTA.

Meanwhile, the post box by the shops in Abbey Avenue now features a family of five chicks with two hatchlings and two Easter bunnies, plus an array of knitted Easter eggs.
It was crafted by Nikki Marriott and Pauline Hurford, who are raising money for the local charity Small Acts of Kindness (smallactsofkindness.co.uk), which helps to tackle loneliness and isolation for older and vulnerable people across the district.
