Owen Teale, who played Ser Alliser Thorne in the celebrated HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, was a surprise guest at the Rose and Crown in Sandridge on Sunday.
Accompanied by his dog Purdy, he met up with a group of fellow dog lovers and was happy to be photographed with staff.
The Welsh character actor (pictured centre) has also been seen in Doctor Who, Line of Duty, Ballykissangel and was Will Scarlet in the 1991 film Robin Hood.
Local musicians Mouth on a Stick were playing in the garden on what was the hottest day of the year.
