Santa Spectacular promises festive fun at Willows Activity Farm

Two cousins were the first visitors of the year to Willows Activity Farm’s Santa Spectacular.

Olive, three, and Ronald, two, headed through the new Polar Portal before they travelled into a winter wonderland featuring elves, gingerbread characters and arctic animals, before meeting Father Christmas in his grotto.

Willows chief executive Lyssa Elster said: “The festive season is well and truly upon us here at Willows and I’m so pleased that Olive and Ronald were some of our first guests to try out the new Polar Portal and head straight to the North Pole to visit Santa.

“Once children have shared their Christmas wishes with Santa, each child receives a golden key which unlocks his toyshop where they are able to choose any gift to take home.”

Back for 2024’s Santa Spectacular is the Toy Workshop where little ones can join a team of elves to make a wooden reindeer, and there is also an all-new Willows’ pantomime and a Magical Puppet Snow Show for guests to enjoy.

The Create-a-Cuddle workshop offers the chance to make a soft toy reindeer, decorate gingerbread with Mrs Claus, write a letter to Santa and enjoy a 3D festive film in the pop-up cinema.

Lyssa added: “We’ve got Christmas all wrapped up at Willows. I’m really pleased we’ve been able to add some new activities, such as the wooden reindeer-making and new shows, to our Santa Spectacular experience this year. Visitors will still be able to enjoy some traditional favourites including the Magical Festive Wood Ride on Tristan the Runaway Tractor, the synthetic ice rink and our festive funfair rides.

““And no trip to a farm is complete without seeing the animals so we have reindeer, Holly and Silver, as well as Dillon the donkey, at The Farmyard waiting to meet our Christmas visitors.

The Santa Spectacular takes place on selected dates up to Christmas Eve. Tickets must be purchased online in advance. For more information, call 0333 331 2060, go to www.willowsactivityfarm.com
