Days after the premature appearance of a Christmas tree in Market Place, filming has been taking place for supermarket giant Tesco’s festive advert.
The Boot pub has been transformed into The Gingerbread Arms, complete with fake snow and gingerbread boardings, while cherry pickers have been installed outside the entrance to Christopher Place Shopping Centre and by the Clock Tower.
Shooting is expected to take place throughout today.
