It was another successful year for Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School, as its A level and vocational students received the results they needed for the next chapter of their lives.
Headteacher Declan Linnane remarked: “Our students should be proud of themselves as they have shown remarkable resilience and tenacity to deliver exceptional results. The entire community should take pride in these achievements. As our students move forward, they do so as well-rounded individuals, prepared for the next exciting phase of their lives.”
Humbled and happy Maggie Perez, who achieved A*A*A, will continue her studies at UCL University: “I am thrilled with my results, and all the hard work has truly paid off. I am incredibly grateful to the staff and my family for their support and guidance, which has helped me secure a place at my first-choice university, UCL, to study psychology.”
Trisha Rebello was thrilled with grades A*AA: “I’m overjoyed with my results and I’m deeply grateful to the teachers who helped me achieve this. I’m now excited about getting ready to go to Warwick University where I’ll be studying psychology.”
NBS was equally proud of twin girls Jada and Jade Okedare, who clocked up five As and a B: “We are absolutely delighted that we chose NBS sixth form to continue our studies. The community is not only incredibly welcoming but also deeply committed to helping every student achieve their best. We are so grateful for all the support NBS has provided us, and now we eagerly look forward to starting our journey at Nottingham University, where we will both be studying pharmacy.”
