A new nine hole adventure golf course is opening this Saturday at Willows Activity Farm.
The Peter Rabbit-themed course is a new addition to the farm’s Summer Spectacular programme which runs July 20 -September 1.
The course includes holes set in Mr McGregor’s Garden, Jemima Puddleduck’s Coop and Jeremy Fisher’s Pond.
Clubs, balls and scorecards are provided for all visitors who can look forward to a host of obstacles and challenges as they putt their way around the themed fairway. And when players reach the ninth hole, the ball disappears down the rabbit hole.
Lyssa Elster, chief executive at Willows Activity Farm, said: “We ran a poll at the start of this year to find out what new activity guests would like to see at Willows. Golf was the winner and we’re thrilled to be opening it to the public this summer.”
The Summer Spectacular event also sees the return of the A-maize-ing Maze, grown entirely from corn maize, a daily foam party for guests, as well as the arrival of new character, Jemima Puddleduck, who will be joining Peter Rabbit and his friends everyday on the outdoor show stage.
Lyssa added: “We have a superb programme of entertainment lined up for visitors to Willows this summer. Whatever the great British weather decides to do we have plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep everyone entertained everyday of the school summer holidays.”
