A ‘Remembering Service’ for anyone who has been bereaved will be held at St Paul’s Church, Hatfield Road, St Albans on Sunday June 9 at 4pm.
The service is open to anyone who has suffered loss either recently or at any time in the past, or in any place.
Rev Peter Crumpler, associate minister, explained: “Mourning is a deeply personal process, with each person experiencing their loss in a unique way.
“In this service we want to give people the opportunity to remember the person who has died, and to have quiet space in a church that has been a place of worship and prayer for more than 100 years.”
Refreshments will be available following the quiet reflective service.
