As is the case every year, a third of the council is up for election, with candidates standing in all wards apart from Redbourn and Colney Heath.
In a bid to make things clearer for local voters, we have been offering political parties the chance to set out their manifestos and highlight some of their candidates, as well as presenting a complete list of who is standing in which ward across the district. These articles will be published over the course of today.
