Police and ambulance services swarmed to an address in Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans, late yesterday afternoon.
They were there to deal with a medical emergency, according to police, who did not provide any further information.
A spokesperson confirmed: “Police were called at around 3.41pm yesterday to a report of a medical emergency at a house in Cell Barnes Lane. Officers attended the scene alongside the ambulance service. The patient was taken to hospital.”
