The second Hertfordshire Business Growth Show took place at Rothamsted Conference Centre in Harpenden last week and was another resounding success with more than 200 like-minded local business owners and entrepreneurs spending a day together learning, connecting and growing.
The event was the initial brainchild of Peter Barker, local entrepreneur and business owner, who along with his co-founders Tony Fields, Michelle Stacey and Anna Peck, wanted to deliver a world-class business event designed to inspire and motivate local business owners.
The not-for-profit event provided delegates with a strong mix of keynote speakers, business workshops, networking and exhibitions.
Peter said: “This event was all about inspiring local business people to help them grow their businesses. The buzz and energy on the day was fantastic and it was so good to spend time with motivated business people with a growth mindset all looking to move their businesses forward.
“The event also raised £2,735 for our chosen charities Herts Young Homeless Group and Electric Umbrella which is great.
“The feedback has been fabulous and it has created a real buzz amongst the local business community.”
Andrew Stirrat, a delegate at the event, added: “This was a fantastic day spent with like-minded individuals. The workshops were really helpful and with plenty of useful takeaways to help me run my business. All topped off with some inspirational speakers too – sign me up for next year!”
