The drama of the Easter story will be acted out in Clarence Park, St Albans, on Good Friday, March 29 – with prizes for anyone who follows the special Easter Trail.
Members of St Paul’s Church, Hatfield Road, will be acting out episodes from the last days of Jesus Christ’s life, his death and resurrection from 1.30pm to 2.45pm in the park on Clarence Road, Fleetville.
Those following the Trail can collect stamps on a special Trail Card. When this is full, they can collect an Easter prize!
Rev Martin Watson of St Paul’s explained: “We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity of engaging with the Easter story, in a way that’s suitable for anyone, of whatever age.
“Many people will be familiar with the story, but many others may not, so we want to share something of the good news of Easter – and to do so in the open air, which is always special. Everyone is invited to come along.”
The Trail will be based around the bandstand side of the park, nearest to Hatfield Road.
